The SEDIF, established in 1923, serves 149 municipalities in 7 departments of Île-de-France, excluding Paris, providing drinking water to 4.4 million inhabitants. With an annual production of 240 million cubic meters of drinking water and a transport and distribution network spanning 8386 kilometers, the SEDIF invests nearly 130 million euros per year to ensure a high-quality public service.
To adapt its information system to future needs, technological advancements, and regulatory challenges, the SEDIF has chosen to deploy Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the integrated management of all its infrastructure.
Over the past 5 years, the drinking water production plants in Méry-sur-Oise and Choisy-le-Roi have undergone significant renovation works to remain at the forefront of technology. During the execution phase (pre-construction studies), the companies EPI, EI TEM, OTV, and ORTEC collaborated closely to conduct design studies that closely simulate reality.
